BADU Magic AK-SSV saltwater swimming pool circulation pumps

The BADU Magic AK-SSV pumps represent the entry-level range of Speck Pumpen swimming pool circulation pumps, with flows from 4 to 11 m³/h for small to medium filtration systems. They have been superseded by the BADU Alpha AK-SSV series. High-quality and proven self-priming circulation pump in AK configuration, for saltwater, seawater and brine, with an intermediate lantern, installable up to 3 m above or below the water level. The "AK" version of the BADU pump corresponds to the standard variant; however, thanks to an intermediate lantern the seal chamber is not mounted directly at the A-side motor bearing but is separated from the motor by an intermediate space and a labyrinth disc. Any escaping fluid and crystallising minerals or salts therefore do not come into contact with the motor or bearing. This allows for a considerably longer service life compared with standard pumps for these applications.

Application areas:
Thermal waters, thermal brine, seawater aquaria with artificially treated saltwater, curing plants, and various problem fluids after checking the components and concentration.
When ordering, the fluid must always be specified in detail so that the pump’s chemical compatibility can be checked.

Use of the pumps for swimming pools and their associated safety areas is only permitted if these are installed in accordance with DIN/VDE 0100 Part 702. Please consult your qualified electrician!
The electrical connection should in principle be carried out by a qualified electrician.
